MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511127100 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'knife handle securing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A knife handle securing device, comprising a platform 101 configured with plurality of suction cups 102, a touch interactive display panel 103 provide input specifications regarding a quantity of wooden handle, a robotic arm 104 to extend and retrieve a knife blade stored within a first chamber 105, a cylindrical compartment 106 installed over the platform 101 via a slot, a plurality of heating elements is integrated within the compartment 106, a robotic gripper 107 to retrieve the heated knife from the compartment 106, a motorized clamp 109 sync with an imaging unit 110 to retrieve a knife handle stored within a second chamber 111, a hydraulic arm 112 installed over the platform 101 attached with a motorized hammering unit 113 and an L-shaped member 114 is installed over the platform 101."
