MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133724 A) filed by Gna University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'kitchen airflow regulation and purification device.'
Inventor(s) include Er. Gagandeep Singh Bains; Dr. Sumit Chopra; Sonal Dhanjal; Aastha; Lalita; Rajwinder Kaur; and Simran Kaur Sandal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A kitchen airflow regulation and purification device, comprises of a body 101 constructed with a circular frame 102 mounted atop a vertical support 103 and a mobile base 104, a set of motorized wheels 109 for autonomous movement, a camera 110 integrated with an NIR sensor for analysing occupancy, individual count and facial expressions, a motorized fan 111 centrally installed in the circular frame 102 coupled with an RPM sensor for automatic speed adjustment, a pair of vertical airflow-directing flaps 112 mounted using motorized hinge joints 113 for focusing air direction, an air purification module 114 to purify circulated air, a humidity control module 115 to regulate moisture level, an odor neutralization module 116 to purify incoming air, a pair of mechanical sleeves 117 supporting an extendable pole 118 with a roller 119 holding a cover sheet 120, an electromagnet 121 to secure the frame 102."
