MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414084752 A) filed by Heraeus Medical Gmbh, Wehrheim, Germany, on Nov. 5, 2024, for 'kit for producing and extruding bone cement, and method.'
Inventor(s) include Thomas Kluge; Sebastian Vogteuropean; and Ekaterini Hohmann.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a kit for producing and extruding bone cement, to a use of a kit, and to a method. A kit (1) for producing and extruding bone cement (15) comprises a first container (12) which contains a first component (81) for producing bone cement (15), a second container (70) which contains a second component (82) for producing bone cement (15), a mixing apparatus (74) for manually mixing the first component (81) and the second component (82) in the first container (12) for the purpose of producing bone cement (15), and an extruding apparatus (10) for manually extruding the produced bone cement (15) from the first container (12). In this way, all materials and apparatuses required for the production and extrusion of bone cement are provided together."
