Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Keys For A Connectivity Process And A Security Protocol Process' Filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL)

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065047 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL), Stockholm, on July 8, for 'keys for a connectivity process and a security protocol process.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a method performed by a user equipment, UE. The method comprises performing (402) a connectivity process with a first network node to generate a first key for use by the UE and the first network node. The UE performs the connectivity process using an identifier, and performing the connectivity process comprises sending, to the first network node, a correlation identifier. The method further comprises performing (404) a security protocol process with the first network node using the first key, wherein performing the security protocol process comprises sending, to the first network node, the correlation identifier."
