MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056988 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 13, for 'jig and manufacturing system for electrode comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Sang-Yeol; Park, Jong-Sik; Kim, Hak-Kyun; Lee, Jae-Eun; and Lee, Je-Jun.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A jig according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured to support an electrode transported along a first direction and including a coated part coated with an electrode active material and a non-coated part not coated with the electrode active material, and comprises: a first support part that is configured to support an area corresponding to the non-coated part of the electrode and includes a laser receiving part formed at a position corresponding to an area that is irradiated with a laser for cutting the non-coated part; and a second support part configured to support an area corresponding to the coated part of the electrode and including at least one support roller."
