MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431063584 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Aug. 22, 2024, for 'isoniazid-loaded multicore magnetic nanoparticle nanoconjugate composition and method for synthesis thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Manoranjan Arakha; and Lipsa Leena Panigrahi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An Isoniazid-loaded multicore magnetic nanoparticle nanoconjugate composition comprises of: ferric chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3.6H2O) in the range of 0.03-0.06% w/w, ferrous chloride tetrahydrate (FeCl2.4H2O) in the range of 0.01-0.03% w/w, polyol mixture in the range of 5-6% v/w, sodium hydroxide (NaOH) in the range of 0.02-0.03% w/w, iron nitrate in the range of 0.3-0.4% w/w, citric acid in the range of 0.2-0.3% w/w, isoniazid (INH) in the range of 0.04-0.05% w/w, and double distilled water in the range of 90-95% v/w."
