MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617003646 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 13, for 'ironing system.'
Inventor(s) include Kang, Sejin; Sung, Younghwan; and Park, Sanghyun.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ironing system of the present invention is characterized by comprising: an ironing board having a pressing surface on which clothes can be pressed; a support body having an upper end coupled to the rear surface of the ironing board so as to support the ironing board; a base part provided at the lower end of the support body so as to be seated on the ground; a water supply part seated on the base part so as to store water; a steam generator spaced apart from the water supply part so as to be provided at the base part, and receiving water from the water supply part so as to generate steam; and an iron connected to the steam generator so as to receive the steam from the steam generator, spraying the steam, and pressing the clothes, wherein the ironing board is coupled to the support body so as to be rotatable up, down, left and right, and includes an operation part provided on the upper surface of the ironing board so as to receive a user's command."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 30, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/013005.
