MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641061905 A) filed by Kits Akshar Institute Of Technology; and KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on May 15, for 'iot weather monitoring system with cloud visualization.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. B. Nagarjuna; Mrs. G Mounika; B. Srinadh; D. Mahesh; P. Venkatesh; and S. Prasad.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The proposed project presents an IoT-based system to monitor and analyze localized weather conditions, providing real-time data to users anywhere in the world. Using an array of sensors temperature, humidity, pressure, rain, and air quality connected to a NodeMCU ESP8266 or Arduino microcontroller, environmental data is gathered, processed, and transmitted to a cloud platform like Thing Speak or Blynk. The data is visualized through web dashboards or mobile applications, allowing for informed decision-making in agriculture, disaster management, and personal use. The system consists of a network of sensors DHT11, BMP180, MQ-135, Rain Sensor interfaced with a microcontroller (NodeMCU ESP8266) to gather environmental parameters. This data is transmitted over Wi-Fi to a cloud platform for storage and visualization via graphical dashboards. The system includes automated alerts for extreme weather conditions and allows for data to be accessed on a web page or mobile app in real-time."
