The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to the system (100) for automated inventory management tailored for micro-commerce. It uses distributed IoT sensor nodes (101) on product bins/shelves to detect parameters like weight, identity, and temperature. The nodes wirelessly send data via a gateway device (102) to a cloud-based orchestrator (103). The orchestrator performs centralized inventory management and analytics. Crucially, it automatically interfaces with social media platforms (104) for real-time dissemination of inventory updates, promotions, and customer interactions. This system helps micro-retailers minimize manual tracking errors, optimize stock control, and automate social media marketing."
