MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105212 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'iot-enabled smart electro-hydraulic servo valve system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Ashok Kumar Kumawat.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an IoT-enabled smart electro-hydraulic servo valve system designed for intelligent control and monitoring of hydraulic actuators. The system comprises an ESP32 microcontroller, a signal conditioning circuit, and an industrial-grade electro-hydraulic servo valve. The ESP32 microcontroller generates a control signal and communicates wirelessly through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, enabling Internet-of-Things (IoT) functionality. The signal conditioning circuit converts a low-voltage DAC output (0-3.3 V) into an industrial-compatible control signal (10 V) for operating the servo valve. The servo valve regulates hydraulic flow and pressure between ports based on the control signal, allowing precise bidirectional actuation. The system supports AI and ML-based control algorithms, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics via IoT networks. The invention provides a cost-effective, scalable, and intelligent control solution for industrial automation and smart manufacturing applications."
