MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104213 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'iot-enabled child play area monitoring and safety system.'

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a system for real-time monitoring of children in playgrounds or safe areas using wearable devices (102), environmental sensors (104), a wireless communication module (106), a cloud gateway (108), and a user interface (110).
