According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses IoT-based gas leak detection and automatic shutoff safety system for domestic and industrial pipelines (100). The system comprises gas sensors (102) mounted at fixed intervals along the pipeline to detect leakage, and wireless communication (104) enabling real-time data transfer to a central alarm unit (106). The central alarm unit (106), integrated with a microcontroller, processes signals and activates an automatic shutoff valve (108) near the gas source. A power supply (110) provides continuous or rechargeable low-power operation, ensuring uninterrupted function. A user interface (112) displays real-time alerts, valve status, and system diagnostics, allowing manual override and reset."
