MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641018174 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 18, for 'iot-based automated humidity-controlled window system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an automated humidity-controlled window system comprising a humidity sensor (10) configured to monitor relative humidity of an indoor environment and generate humidity data, a processing unit (20) configured to receive the humidity data, compare it against predetermined humidity thresholds, and generate control signals, a servo motor (30) coupled to the processing unit (20) and mechanically coupled to a window (40), configured to actuate the window (40) between open and closed positions in response to the control signals, and a local display device (50) configured to display the humidity data and window status."
