MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517025811 A) filed by Certest Biotec, S. L., San Mateo de Gallego, Spain, on March 21, for 'ionizable lipids and lipid nanoparticles containing thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Gimenez Warren, Javier; Heredero Garcia, Juan; Martnez Olivan, Juan Enrique; Pena Moreno, Alvaro; Miguel Samaniego, Diego; and Toro Cordova, Alfonso.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "It is provided an ionizable lipid of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a stereoisomer of any one of them; a lipid nanoparticle comprising the ionizable lipid, particularly, as an encapsulation agent, optionally comprising a pharmaceutically active agent; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the lipid nanoparticle. It is also provided a lipid nanoparticle or a pharmaceutical composition comprising thereof for use in medicine, and the use of the lipid nanoparticles as an encapsulating agent."
