MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105053 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'interrogation system for evaluating suspect credibility.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An interrogation system for evaluating suspect credibility, comprising a housing 101 defining an interrogation chamber, a seating platform 102 arranged within housing 101 for a suspect to sit during interrogation, a cap 106 configured to be worn by suspect embedded with sensors for capturing physiological and behavioral responses, an artificial intelligence-based camera 108 integrated with a facial recognition module for monitoring and analysing facial expressions and micro-expressions, a microphone 116 for recording and analysing voice parameters, a display unit 113 configured to present interrogation data in real time, a data-processing unit with an embedded microcontroller and machine learning protocols analyses collected data to determine truthfulness, a phone inspection chamber 109 with cable 110, clamping unit 111, imaging, and pneumatic pin 112 for phone data retrieval and interaction, a speaker 107 provides coordinated audio-visual instructions, and an electronically controlled sliding door 114 enables secure chamber 109 access."
