MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517076789 A) filed by Malas, Charle Khamis, Yerevan, Armenia, on Aug. 12, for 'interchangeable trailer-mountable cast fitting system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An interchangeable trailer-mountable cast fitting system (10) for use with elongate-article transportation vehicles. The interchangeable trailer-mountable cast fitting system (10) comprises a cast fitting (12)comprising an adapter plate receiver (20) and a twist-lock aperture (28) dimensioned to receive a twist-lock for connection to a vehicular trailer; a first adapter (14) having an adapter plate (18) and a functional component (36) on an in-use outward side (34) of the adapter plate (18), the functional component (36)comprising a twist-lock (38) receivably engagable with a twist-lock aperture (28); and a second adapter (16)having an adapter plate (18), an in-use outward side (34) of the adapter plate (18) being different to that of the first adapter (14); the first and second adapters (14, 16) being selectably interengagable with the adapter plate receiver (20) of the cast fitting (12) using the respective adapter plates (18) to modify a connection characteristic of the cast fitting (12)."
