The system further includes a cloud module (130) comprising an interaction synchronization server (1301) and a low-latency signalling module (1303). The system is configured to operate selectively in a real-time communication mode in which touch data captured at the first user device (200) is transmitted to the second user device (300) for reproduction in synchrony with live audiovisual communication, and in a recorded interactive video mode in which touch input captured at a user device is evaluated locally by the interaction processing module (120) relative to interaction parameters defined in a manifest file (150) associated with prerecorded video content."
