MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132307 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'interactive learning assistive device for classrooms.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An interactive learning assistive device for classrooms, comprising a touchscreen display panel 101 integrated with each classroom desk, configured to provide real-time schedule updates, interactive learning, assignment tracking, and study guidance, a seating unit 102 includes the platform 102a for accommodating a user, a plurality of extendable legs 102b mounted underneath the platform 102a for adjusting height as per requirement, and a set of segmented extendable backrest plates 102c connected via motorized hinges 102d to provide support during sitting, an imaging unit 103 is mounted on the desk via an extendable bar 104, configured to monitor eye activity, reading distance, and detect prolonged eye strain, a microphone 105 monitors ambient classroom noise levels, a leg covering module provides warmth, safety, and comfort to the student's legs, a motorized roller 110 in a reading cavity enables smooth page turning."
