MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521132281 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'interactive cognitive rehabilitation system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An interactive cognitive rehabilitation system, comprising of an interactive assistive podium 101 positioned within a user environment, a projection unit 104 displays an artificial-intelligence-generated virtual face adapted for natural, empathetic, and responsive interaction with a user suffering from dementia, a cognitive stimulation module conduct structured, theme-based conversational therapy sessions over predefined intervals to promote communication, memory recall, and cognitive engagement, an imaging module 105 detects hand gestures and body movements of the user to enable touch-free interaction, a cognitive training unit to present progressively adaptive puzzles, memory tasks, or shape-matching activities via the holographic projection unit 104, and dynamically adjusts difficulty based on user performance, an acoustic transducer 106 provides verbal prompts, cues, or hints when hesitation or task difficulty is detected, and a vest 107 adapted to be worn by the user and integrated with a sensing unit to monitor daily activity, safety, and health indicators."
