MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631020116 A) filed by Guru Nanak Institute Of Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, on Feb. 20, for 'intelligent blender with integrated ingredient monitoring and energy efficiency.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Moloy Dhar; Ms. Priyanka Ghosh; Dr. Aveek Chattopadhyaya; and Dr. Amrut Ranjan Jena.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An intelligent blender integrates in-process sensors, a motorized base and a controller to monitor and automatically control blending. Sensors measure ingredient properties such as volume, viscosity/texture, moisture and hardness; the controller processes this data in real time to identify and track ingredients, determine target homogeneity and dynamically adjust motor speed, power and blending time to achieve uniform mixing while minimizing energy use. The appliance provides preset modes, user feedback and safety interlocks, and includes detachable, food-safe components for cleaning. The system yields repeatable blending results, reduces unnecessary power consumption, and is suitable for domestic and commercial food preparation."
