MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611025007 A) filed by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 3, for 'integrated radiographic control system for multi-modality medical imaging.'
Inventor(s) include Virendra Kumar Maurya.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a unified radiographic imaging system comprising a single, integrated control console configured to operate multiple diagnostic imaging modalities, namely X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Mammography. The console incorporates three dedicated modality-selection switches, identified as Switch V, Switch K and Switch M, which enable rapid and error-free transition between imaging functions without the need for separate control panels. Upon selection of a modality, the system automatically configures corresponding imaging parameters and synchronises the associated hardware components, including generators and detectors. The integrated design reduces workflow complexity, enhances operational efficiency, minimises installation space requirements, and supports improved diagnostic accuracy and patient throughput."
