MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541121006 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'integrated fire-resistant safety cover with self-contained breathing and dielectric protection system.'

This invention provides superior, multi-hazard protection . against fire, electrical arcs, and toxic fumes in a single, comfortable, rapid-deployment system, significantly enhancing worker survivability. The primary applications are in high-risk industrial environments such as fireworks manufacturing, electrical and EV battery maintenance, chemical laboratories, and mining operations, where comprehensive protection against fire, electrical discharge, and toxic fumes is crucial."
