The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an integrated battery status display system designed for real-time monitoring and safe management of lithium-ion battery packs. The system employs an Arduino Uno microcontroller interfaced with a voltage sensing circuit, an ACS712 current sensor, and a DHT11 temperature sensor to continuously measure battery voltage, current, and temperature. A relay-controlled cooling fan is automatically activated when the sensed temperature exceeds a predefined threshold to ensure thermal protection. A 16 2 LCD with an I2C interface provides real-time visual feedback of critical parameters, including battery percentage, charging time estimate, distance available, temperature, fan status, voltage, and current. A push button enables a sliding display mode for detailed information, while an automatic mode alternates essential readings without user interaction. The system also transmits sensor data to a serial monitor for diagnostics. The invention offers a compact, low-cost, and scalable solution for small electric vehicles and portable energy storage applications."
