MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521114224 A) filed by Dr. Ballal Bharat Bajarang; and Ms. Ballal Shubhra Bharat, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Nov. 20, 2025, for 'instrument for detecting vehicle mount explosives.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ballal Bharat Bajarang; and Ms. Ballal Shubhra Bharat.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a 'Instrument for detecting vehicle mount explosives' specially designed for mounting it at inner surfaces of vehicles including dicky of cars and two wheelers and with notion of easy detection of explosives, sending the locations of such vehicles and with strength of output signal, possible intensity of explosive can be communicated to police/ appropriate security agencies. It comprises A 'Sensor System' (1) for detecting vehicle mount explosives, 'Antenna' (2) which is organised system of multiple subcomponents which gives an electrical signal to the antenna's feed horn, at the focal point of the parabolic antenna or similar antenna and the working of reflecting the signal directly from vehicle having explosives in alone or in combinations, where a tight beam is generated and transmitted toward the satellite, 'Clip Holder' (3), made up of an inert material or metal to fix the instrument to inner surfaces of respective vehicles irrespective of classification of vehicles and 'GPS system' (4) linked with sensor as a part of entire instrument. The instrument is designed in a way to suit mounting in any vehicle including cars, trucks, two wheelers, mobile trolleys at Airports. The invention is innovative having industrial significance in automobile industry. The invention is useful to limit the blast incidences of vehicle mount explosives."
