MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044744 A) filed by Trutzschler Group Se, Monchengladbach, Germany, on May 8, for 'inspection device for detecting foreign bodies in fiber material application preparation machine system and method.'
Inventor(s) include Engels Guido; and Dovern Martin.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an inspection device (30) for detecting foreign bodies in fiber material which is received in a filling shaft (2) of a preparation machine (1; 100) in particular a spinning preparation machine. The inspection device (30) comprises: an opening closure device (31) for closing a housing opening (27) of the preparation machine (1; 100) said filling shaft (2) being visible from the outside via the housing opening wherein the opening closure device (31) has a separating element (32) with a transparent monitoring region (39) which defines a monitoring plane (E) and a cover element (33) which is arranged on the separating element (32) and an interior (37) is formed between the separating element (32) and the cover element (33); and a camera device (38) which is arranged in the interior (37). The invention is characterized in that the optical axis (40) of the camera device (38) is oriented at least substantially parallel to the monitoring plane (E) and a deflecting device (41) is arranged in the interior (37) of the opening closure device (31) said deflecting device deflecting a beam path (42) coming from the monitoring region (39) towards the camera device (38). The invention also relates to the use of the inspection device to a preparation machine to a system comprising multiple preparation machines and to a method for optically inspecting fiber material."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 18, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/078973.
