MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026648 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'injectable administration assistive device for animals.'
Inventor(s) include Rajiv Dutta; Subrata K. Das; Anupama Chaudhary; and Sweety Pal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An injectable administration assistive device for animals, comprising a meshed body 1 positioned on a ground surface with a motorized lid 2 accessed by user for accommodating an animal to be injected inside body 1, an imaging unit 3 to determine dimensions of animal's body 1, plurality of telescopically operated rods 4 to extend/retract for adapting to a required dimensions of body 1 for properly accommodating animal inside body 1, a telescopically operated bar 5 suspended from ceiling of body 1 via a motorized dual-axis slider 6 to translate bar 5 in proximity to animal's mouth portion, a motorized clamp 8 for acquiring a grip on animal's mouth portion and position animal's mouth portion in a required direction and a partitioning plate 9 is integrated inside body 1 via motorized sliding unit 10 for orienting animal towards a wall of body 1 and restricting animal to perform any movements."
