MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537118851 A) filed by Animol Discovery, Inc., Boston, on Nov. 28, 2025, for 'inhibitors of canine janus kinase and uses thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Calabrese, Andrew Antony; and Stanton, David T.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are compounds having inhibitory activity toward the Janus Kinase 1 (JAK-1) enzyme, and which are useful as therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents. The compounds may be useful in treating inflammatory disorders in non-human mammals, for example, in treating canine atopic dermatitis. Also provided herein are methods for preparation of such compounds."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 30, 2024, under International application No. PCT/IB2024/055314.
