MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060378 A) filed by Fermentationexperts A/S, Baekke, Denmark, on June 24, for 'ingredient for improving shelf life.'
Inventor(s) include Legarth, Jens Hoffner.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the use of an ingredient for improving the shelf life of a food product, wherein the food product comprising a basic food component and the ingredient, and the food product comprises within the range of 5-75% (w/w) of the ingredient and wherein the ingredient comprises a fermented vegetable material."
