According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a method and system (100) for infrastructure-based traffic monitoring and real-time warning. The method includes an electronic device (150) receives traffic information from a multi-sensor embedded unit (101) comprising an optical sensor (101a), a radar sensor (101b), and an infrared sensor (101c), which provides optical, radar, and infrared data. The electronic device (150) determines traffic activities, fuses the sensor data to generate fused data, and detects anomalies. Based on detected anomalies and traffic activities, at least one traffic hazard is identified, and an alert is generated. The alert is transmitted to pedestrian signal devices, roadway lighting systems, driver display interfaces, or vehicle communication devices, enabling real-time warnings and improved traffic safety."
