MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046572 A) filed by Softbank Group Corp., Tokyo, on May 14, for 'information processing system enabling secure connection related to automatic driving.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An information processing system according to the present invention comprises: a control device which is a central brain mounted on a vehicle; and an information processing device which is a security chip. The information processing device comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires a type of data processed by the control device; a determination unit that determines whether the type of data is mission-critical data or non-mission-critical data; and a setting unit that carries out setting so that the control device makes a connection to a secure private cloud for the mission-critical data and makes a connection to a public cloud for the non-mission-critical data."
