The method comprises: for input source video data, performing a prediction operation with respect to an image component of a code block to be encoded in the source video data according to a preset prediction mode, which is a mode dependent prediction combination (PDPC) mode (S301), and obtaining a first predicted block; determining a difference value between the image component of said code block and a predicted value of the first predicted block (S302), and obtaining a residual block; and writing the residual block and the prediction mode to a bitstream (S303)."
