MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517084619 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Sept. 5, for 'information processing device and information processing method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention comprises a control unit that is configured to receive designation of one or more first platforms that manage a supply chain, receive input of first information about a first product that includes information about traceability, reference information about rules for transmitting information to each of the first platforms and generate second information that respectively corresponds to the first platforms from the first information, and reference information about connectors that respectively correspond to the first platforms and use the corresponding connectors to transmit the second information to the first platforms or allocate the second information to a prescribed storage area in a transmissible state."
