MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641019797 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhnagar, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 20, for 'industrial fluid dispenser with digital flow meter integral with battery power port.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses an industrial fluid dispenser with digital flow meter integral with battery power port to provide an accurate, portable, and user-friendly fluid dispensing solution suitable for industrial, commercial, and field-based applications. I 0 The industrial fluid dispenser delivers controlled and measured quantities of industrial fluids such as lubricants, fuels, oils, and chemicals from the source container to the target container. The peristaltic pump (6) enables contamination-free transfer of fluid from the fluid passing hose (1) positio!'led inside the source container to the dispensing spout (10) positioned inside the target container. Dispensing lever (5) in the holding 15 handle (2) is pressed to dispense the fluid. The volume of fluid to be dispensed can be set by the operator via the keypad (8) for precise dispersion. The digital flow meter (7) measures volume of dispensed fluid in real-time. total volume dispensed and flow rate is displayed on the LCD volume display (9). The rechargeable battery (3) allows portable and power-independent operation."
