MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517130019 A) filed by Vandor Corporation, Richmond, U.S.A., on Dec. 22, 2025, for 'induction bonded reel.'
Inventor(s) include Elder, Jack, E.; Brown, Richard; and Nichols, Christopher.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A reel includes a core, a first flange affixed to a first end of the core, a second flange affixed to a second opposite end of the core, and a first bonded joint connecting the first flange to the core. The first bonded joint includes a first susceptor material arranged between the first flange and the first end of the core, and the first flange and the first end of the core are bonded around the first susceptor material."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/030565.
