MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544044934 A) filed by Carrier Japan Corporation, Tokyo, on May 9, for 'indoor unit of air conditioner, and heat insulating member.'
Inventor(s) include Sasaki Ryosuke; Gajina Kenji; and Hasegawa Tatsumi.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to the present embodiment includes: a housing including a side surface wall part and an upper surface wall part; and a heat insulating member including a heat insulating side surface wall part and a heat insulating upper surface wall part, the heat insulating side surface wall part extending along the side surface wall part of the housing, the heat insulating upper surface wall part extending along the upper surface wall part of the housing, wherein a fitting part is formed at a corner portion formed by the heat insulating side surface wall part and the heat insulating upper surface wall part, the fitting part allowing fitting of a portion of another heat insulating member."
