MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091945 A) filed by Bespak Europe Limited, Norfolk, U.K., on Sept. 25, for 'improvements relating to the stoppering of containers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A dispensing apparatus (100), a container (1) and a valve member (20) are provided wherein the valve member (20) comprises a central body (30) and a flexible skirt (40). The flexible skirt (40) comprises an annular wall (41) having a free edge (42) directed in a first direction. The annular wall (41) defines an annular sealing portion (43) that extends circumferentially around the valve member (20) to provide an unbroken annular sealing surface."
