MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527077267 A) filed by Fujirebio Europe NV; and Fujirebio Inc., Gent, Belgium, on Aug. 13, for 'improved blood diagnostic.'
Inventor(s) include Mersch, Guy; Yamaguchi, Atsushi; Aoyagi, Katsumi; and Vandenbroucke, Ina.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method to quantify the abundance of Neurofilament light chain (NFL) in a blood sample, comprising the steps of adding a composition comprising a polyanionic molecule and of reacting it with at least one antibody coupled to a detection system, specifically binding to one epitope of the NFL, its use for a diagnostic application and the corresponding diagnostic kit."
