MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092326 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Sept. 26, for 'implicit determination rules for positioning reference signal (prs) resource set aggregation linkage.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration from a location server indicating at least two PRS resource sets transmitted by a transmission-reception point (TRP) that are associated for PRS measurement aggregation, one or more PRS resources in each of the at least two PRS resource sets that are associated for PRS measurement aggregation, or both, receives a request to obtain measurements of the at least two PRS resource sets, the one or more PRS resources in each of the at least two PRS resource sets, or both, and obtains aggregated measurements of the one or more PRS resources in a first PRS resource set and the one or more PRS resources in a second PRS resource set."
