MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517038337 A) filed by Curexo Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 22, for 'impact reducing device for medical tools and medical holder having same.'
Inventor(s) include Cho Gyu Il; and Lim Heung Soon.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an impact reducing device for medical tools and a medical holder having same and more specifically to: an impact reducing device for medical tools capable of absorbing and buffering abnormal impact force from medical tools thereby preventing in advance deformation of or damage to medical holders the medical tools or peripheral devices; and a medical holder equipped with the impact reducing device. The impact reducing device for medical tools according to the present invention comprises: an impact reducing device main body having formed therein a tool insertion hole into which a tool shaft of a medical tool is inserted; an impact absorption member disposed in the impact reducing device main body to absorb impact acting on the medical tool; and a separation prevention member installed to the impact reducing device main body so as to prevent the impact absorption member from being separated."
