The raft assembly (102) is configured to float on a surface of a water body (200) and the reusable substrates (104) are suspended vertically from the raft assembly (102) into the water body (200) at varying depths. The immobilized microalgae (108) adhere to the reusable substrates (104) and are adapted to consume nutrients. Accordingly, the immobilized microalgae (108) transform and removes organic, inorganic, and toxic pollutants from the water body (200)."
