MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058138 A) filed by Syngenta Crop Protection Ag, Basel, Switzerland, on June 17, for 'imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives.'

Inventor(s) include Scarborough, Christopher Charles; Pouliot, Martin; Finkbeiner, Peter; Bonvalot, Damien; Germain, Nicolas; Jeanmart, Stephane Andre Marie; and Le Chapelain, Camille.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current invention relates to compounds of the formula (I), wherein the substituents are as defined in claim 1, to processes and methods for preparing compounds of formula (I), to agrochemical compositions comprising compounds of formula (I) as defined in claim 1, to preparation of these compositions and to the use of the compounds or compositions in agriculture or horticulture for combating, preventing or controlling infestation of plants, harvested food crops, seeds or non-living materials by phytopathogenic microorganisms, in particular fungi."
