MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514091579 A) filed by Largan Precision Co. Ltd., Taichung City, Taiwan, on Sept. 24, 2025, for 'imaging lens assembly, camera module and electronic device.'
Inventor(s) include Yu-Chen Lai; and Te-Sheng Tseng.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An imaging lens assembly (101) includes a plurality of lens elements (111, 112) and an adjustable aperture group (120). The adjustable aperture group (120) is disposed on an object side of the lens elements (111, 112). The adjustable aperture group (120) includes a plurality of rotatable light blocking sheets (130). Each of the rotatable light blocking sheets (130) includes an image-side surface and an object-side surface, the image-side surface faces the lens elements (111, 112), and the object-side surface is disposed opposite to the image-side surface. The image-side surface includes a tapered surface, which is disposed on a side of the image-side surface close to the optical axis (Z1), and the tapered surface gradually approaches the object-side surface along a direction close to the optical axis (Z1)."
