MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544029852 A) filed by Canon Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, on March 28, for 'image processing apparatus with vr image display control function, image processing system, image processing program, and control method of image processing apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An image processing apparatus includes: a receiving unit (101) that receives an operation of changing a display range for an image displayed on a display (105); and a display control unit (101) that performs control based on the operation, the control being performed to transform an image of a predetermined range in a hemispherical image into a planar image and to display the planar image on the display (105).
