MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621005108 A) filed by Sanjay Kumar; and Dr. Deepmala Sharma, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Jan. 19, for 'image encryption using chaotic based non-linear recursive transformation and deoxyribonucleic acid (dna) computing.'

Inventor(s) include Sanjay Kumar; and Dr. Deepmala Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented method 700 for image encryption is disclosed. The computer-implemented method 700 includes receiving at least one image 110 containing textual elements. A cryptographic hash value 112 is calculated corresponding to the at least one image 110. An encryption key 114 is generated by processing the at least one image 110 through the cryptographic hash value 112. The computer-implemented method 700 further includes initializing a SGM generator 116 using the encryption key 114. Dynamic DNA encoding is performed based on the initialization by decomposing pixel values associated with the at least one image 110 into sub-cell structures 122, and converting each sub-cell structure into DNA bases 124 based on a sort-index derived from the chaotic sequence 118. An encrypted image 126 may be further generated based on the diffused DNA bases. The computer-implemented method 700 further includes providing on the electronic device 104, the encrypted image 126."
