Inventor(s) include Kirti; Shivam Sharma; Prateek Soni; Pranshu Joshi; Aditya Singh; and Jivesh Goel.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Illuminated Sticky Pad Cleaning System (100) is a safety-focused cleaning device for removing broken glass. The system integrates a bristle section (104) to sweep large shards, a replaceable adhesive pad section (106) for capturing micro-glass fragments, and an LED illumination system (108) for enhanced visibility. Large shards are first collected by the bristles (104), while micro-shards are trapped by the adhesive pad (106). High-intensity LEDs (108) highlight otherwise invisible glass particles, improving safety in low-light conditions. The handle (110) contains a rechargeable battery powering the LEDs and provides ergonomic support. Adhesive pads (106) are safely peelable for disposal without user contact. The system (100) is suitable for homes, restaurants, laboratories, hospitals, and workshops, providing comprehensive glass cleanup with improved safety, efficiency, and repeatable usability."
