MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011953 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 12, for 'ice cube molding device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sasmeeta Tripathy.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ice cube molding device, comprising a cuboidal housing 101 rectangular plate for an opening/closing of the housing 101 for pouring water or removing ice, pneumatic pins 103 having rectangular flaps 104 arranged in a grid for creating different shapes of the ice, a flexible waterproof sheet 105 providing a continuous leak-proof surface, a plurality of trays 107 attached on a primary sliding unit 106 via hinges 108 for partitioning of space of the housing 101 for creating separate ice cubes, a secondary sliding unit 109 having a plurality of clippers 110 mounted on sliders of the secondary sliding unit 109 to hold stick for making popsicles, iris lid 111 through which the sticks are inserted into the housing 101 and an imaging unit 112 to determine stick held by the user near the housing 101."
