MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019731 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'ice cream cone filling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Shiv Bharat Singh; and Dr. Ajay Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ice cream cone filling assistive device, comprising a cylindrical hollow body 1 gripped by a user via handle 2 for positioning in container, a touch enabled screen 4 for enabling user to select level of ice cream and type of ice cream topping and rod 3 extends to insert body 1 within container to fill cream within body 1 whose level is detected by a level sensor, a motorized iris lid 5 get closed for preventing flowing of ice cream, a speaker 6 notifies user to hold body 1 in upside-down orientation, a camera 7 detects dimensions of mouth portion of cone, four motorized hinges 9 tilt four curved-shaped members 8 for gripping mouth portion of cone, a telescopically operated link 11 extends for transferring ice cream in cone, an iris pore attached with each chamber 12 to dispenses topping on ice cream."
