MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019833 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'ice container management device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Omprakash Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ice container management device, comprising an T-shaped body 101 having a proximal end configured with a handle accessed by a user to position towards an ice can from which frozen ice is to be removed, a touch interactive display panel 102 installed at the body 101 to enable user to provide input commands, a speaker 104 integrated on the handle to generate audible instructions to notify the user to pour distilled water on the can for loosening of frozen ice from the can, a pair of U-shaped clamp 105 configured with the body 101 for gripping the can, a vibrating unit 106 integrated on the body 101 to generate vibrational sensation to allow removal of the frozen ice out from the can, a telescopic pin 107 attached with the body 101 to extend retract in a repetitive manner to break the ice."
