MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075844 A) filed by Basf Se, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, on Aug. 8, for 'hydroxyphenyltriazine co-stabilizers for stabilized polyesters.'
Inventor(s) include Weyland, Tania; Mueller, Daniel; Wunderlich-Wippert, Wiebke; Gerster, Michele; and Chua, Bee Suan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a composition comprising a polyester material, at least one compound of formula (A) as defined below, and at least one UV absorber as defined below; and to a use of the composition comprising the at least one compound of formula (A) and the at least one UV absorber for enhancing stability of a polyester material exposed to light."
