MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056484 A) filed by Croda International Plc, Goole, U.K., on June 12, for 'hydrolysed protein uptake enhancer.'
Inventor(s) include Knignt, Kathryn; Smith, Amie; Flavell, James; Colver, Patrick; and Sayer, Robert Michael.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to penetrants for agrochemical formulations, where said formulations comprise at least one penetrant being a hydrolysed protein having molecular weight in the range between 200 to 150,000 Da; and at least one agrochemical active. Preferably, the hydrolysed protein is derived from wheat or potato protein. There is also a method of providing uptake enhancement in said agrochemical formulations using said hydrolysed protein, and methods of treating crops with such formulations. A concentrate is also provided suitable for forming the formulation."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/086723.
